Mixed machine parts, Clouds, Machine Mouse and the previous first try....

This machine part is a play of drawings done in AutoCad and functions offered by AutoCad such as the 'cloud' tool that you see on the left. The machine parts are visible in the background but overlayed with a pattern. Within these patterns I had a machine part integrated including a play of colours. Through playing around with the functions I figured out how to delete certain parts of the filled in colour and eye-like shapes were left over. I like this machine part as i think the interplay of mechanical and biological patterns or shapes create an almost biomechanic machine. could improve on composition though.
This drawing is one of my favourite ones that i have produced. It is constructed out of several different drawings that i created in and outside class time. I played mostly with scale, rotation and copy and paste, which seem to be the three most important tools in computer programmes in general. I added a bit of colour once I had realized the resemblance to a mouse and created a tail and ears. This drawing was also done in the AutoDesk AutoCad programme and is part of our first drawing exercises.

This is a 1st try and it is very simple. the 1st machine part i drew, the one that looks like the sun, is the centre of this drawing. buzy clouds around it creating a cartoon-like appearance. Later we edited the black and white colour scheme and used block colour to blend the lines between the clouds and the sun part of the Drawing.
