Project one: Drawing_04 and the first Drawings

Another different idea how to display the forces acting on the object. This time it is alot more graphic and drawn ina square and edgy manner. The smash at the end is an extension of the narrative of the forces, it breaking into thousend pieces. In this case the force of the object wildly swinging was to much fore the rope or cord that is attached to the chandelier and it ripped. Gravity finishing the job, pulls the chandelier towards the ground causing it to smash.

This drawing is an exploration with the different options of creating Multileaders. Broken, thicker or thinner lines are a possibility. The forces again are not quite accurate but it still portrays the same idea of the chandelier dropping and swinging wildly.

This version of the drawing from underneath is a complexer version of the chandelier being pulled down by gravity and pushed by it's mass. It is not quite realistic, as there is no indication of the slowing of the chandelier. But it is an exploration in the aesthetic of the upcoming final drawing that will be submitted for project 1.

After the last drawing i realized that through the pull back of the fall, the chandelier would possibly start rotating. This idea was explored in this Drawing. It reminds me of a butterfly. Unfortunately I also noyiced that the heads of the multileaders did not show up..... Design only black in colour.

This drawing is the start of a series of drawings and developments deriving from my chosen object, the chandelier and my chosen drawing from the outside drawing session at the creek. I imagined that the chandelier would drop from above hanging on a cord or something similar, swinging until stand still. At first the chandelier drops and once the cord has stretched, the chandelier experiences a forceful pull back, moving into forceful swinging and slowly getting slower until it comes to a halt. Learning how to create arrows or also called Multileaders on the AutoCad programme was the main challenge in this work. Playing around with colours and designs.
